My name is Karina Awidat
I believe the one reason we all live for is Love, and I see Kindness as a bridge to it.
I was born in Israel, and I am of Arabic and Ukrainian descent. I speak three languages: Russian, Ukrainian, and English.
I have earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and I am a certified Yoga teacher, specializing in Iyengar Yoga, as well as a Guide in Jyotish Vedic Astrology. One of my passion since I was a child is Photo Memories. I am digital creator and photographer as well.
My passion is to reconnect my brothers and sisters with nature, with their inner self and body, and to each other. The main offerings through which I serve this purpose are Kirtan Singing Evenings, Breathwork and Soundhealing meditations, Yoga Classes, Tantra Evenings – in person in the Los Angeles, CA area where I live.
I founded the Temple of Love organization in 2020. The Temple of Love team gathers world-class musicians, healers, yogis, and coaches to create temporary sanctuaries and rest areas to facilitate a dive into mindfulness, tranquility, connection, community, and growth at large-scale musical events, having served over 5000 people to date.
The team has created four Temples in collaborations with large-scale event organizers Deseract, and AuthenticA, in addition to organizing its own independent Re:Treat. The Temple also participated in the (renegade) Burning Man 2021, creating an oasis and a portal for all Burners to experience a loving, restorative, insightful container to rest and rejuvenate amid their transformation period in the desert.
The Temple is a first realization of what I would aspire to build and create in my lifetime – a temple for all religions and philosophies. I believe the one reason we all live for is Love, and I see Kindness as a bridge to it.
In my vision, there are no strangers in the world – and my mission is to give to as many as those that feel like strangers a temple and a home, and to empower them to make conscious choices that enable them to feel at home anywhere on Earth.
And I believe that anyone can reclaim this power, and share it with their loved ones, friends, and strangers - until all of Earth will be a temple again.
